ASSALAMUALAIKUM
Hye Everyone,
INGREDIENTS :
- 1 chicken, cut into serving pieces, skinned and trimmed of all visible fat.
- 2 inch piece of ginger, peeled.
- 3 inch "lengkuas".
- 6 cloves garlic.
- 6 cloves onion (small).
- 3 tbsp "jintan manis" powder.
- 3 tbsp "jintan putih" powder.
- 1 tbsp salt.
- 2 tbsp sugar.
- 5 stalks of lemongrass.
- 1 packet tandoori powder.
INSTRUCTIONS :
- Prepare the tandoori marinade by blending everything EXCEPT chicken. Process until a smooth paste is formed.
- Mix the marinade in with the whole chicken and marinate in the fridge for a minimum of 6 hours.
- Cook on a grill set to medium high until cooked through, around 30 minutes.
NOTE :
Takes 15 minutes to make, 15-20 minutes to barbecue, plus 1- 6 hours marinating
