Nasi Ambeng Johor

Hye guys...

Now I want to share recipe from Johor Bahru as known as Nasi Ambeng..

Nasi ambeng or Nasi ambang is a fragrant rice dish consists of white rice prepared with chicken curry or chicken cooked in soy sauce, vegetables, fried noodles, some salted fish, fried coconut flesh, and so on. It is a popular Javanese cuisine, especially in every Javanese-Malay communities in Malaysian states of Selangor and Johor and also in JavaIndonesia. It is served during the festivities and served in a tray and enjoyed together in a tray by four to five people.

Ketchup Chicken Ingredients :
1 chicken - cut into small pieces
Pinch of turmeric - for the powdered chicken
Spices fry 3 flock (cinnamon , star anise and cloves )
6 shallots - sliced ​​thinly
3 cloves garlic - chopped fine
2 inch ginger - sliced ​​finely
Slightly sweet soy sauce

2 green chillies - cut into 2
2 large onions - sliced ​​round
2 potatoes - sliced ​​and fried
Oil for frying

How to make Chicken Ketchup :
1 . Chicken cleaned , are mixed with salt and turmeric then fried half-baked . Set aside .
2 . Saute spices saute 3 flock (cinnamon , star anise and cloves ) until fragrant .
3 . Add garlic , onion and ginger . Stir until smooth and crisp.
4 . Add sweet soy sauce and black pepper . Stir well . Pour a little water if the sauce is too thick .
5 . Add the chicken and potatoes. Leave it until the chicken is fully cooked .
6 . Add salt to taste , onions, green peppers and red .

Ingredients for coconut floss :
1 whole grated coconut - white only take
10 dried chillies
1 inc ginger
3 stalks lemongrass
1/2 inch ginger
1/2 cup dried shrimp
1 cup dried anchovies
3 cloves of garlic
5 shallots
shrimp paste
Pinch of turmeric
1/2 cup tamarind juice
Salt and sugar to taste

How to make coconut floss :
1 . Blend all the above ingredients except oil .
2 . Heat the oil and fry the blended ingredients and dry.
3 . Then add the tamarind juice, salt and sugar to taste. Cook until sauce thickens and dry.
4 . Once crisp coconut and stir to enter completely dry and crumble .

Ingredients for vegetable fried Java :
4 pieces of tempe - cut into cubes and fried
3 pieces of tofu - cut into cubes and fried
10 gm soohoon - soaked
Long beans - sliced ​​oblique
10 prawns - shelled
1 piece of dried tofu - soaked and cut
4 shallots - blended
2 cloves of garlic - blended
1 tbsp dried prawns - blended
1 tbsp anchovies - ground
1 tablespoon sweet soy sauce
1 stick of chili - sliced
Salt to taste

How to make Sambal Goreng:
1 . Heat the oil and saute the blended ingredients until crisp and fragrant .
2 . After that , add in prawns , long beans , soo hoon , dried bean curd , tofu , tempeh, chilli and mix well.
3 . Then add the sweet soy sauce with salt . Stir until cooked.

Materials for Mee Goreng:
yellow noodles
4 cloves of garlic - blended
2 shallots - blended
Dried chillies - ground
dried shrimp
Salt and sugar to taste
sprouts
Fishball
shrimp
Meat - sliced ​​thin
Vegetable mustard - cut
tomato fruit
Tofu - fried
eggs

How to make Mee Goreng :
1 . Heat oil and saute the blended ingredients until crisp and fragrant .
2 . Add eggs , meat , fishball , shrimp and chili and cook until meat is tender.
3 . Add salt and sugar to taste.
4 . Add tomatoes , tofu and noodle stir and warm.
5 . Finally add the spinach and bean sprouts. Stir well.
