ORIGINAL COCONUT SHAKE ~~~~ KLEBANG, MALACCA

Assalamualaikum....

I want to share about the coconut shake that is original at Klebang, Malacca. Klebang Coconut Shake was the hottest drink in Malacca nowadays and this store was the original store of this drink. During weekends, they a lot of people queue for the coconut shake so you cannot miss it when you visit Malacca. They have two store, if you would like to take away, you have to queue like other people on the roadside. If you would like to drink in the store, you have to drive into the road to the 2nd store and you will see more people inside it. Take a sit and wait, they will come to you and take order.

This is the special version which comes with a scoop of ice cream.
-Normal shake (without ice cream) is RM1.50.
-Special version is RM2.20.

The process looks simple enough, but apparently none have managed to recreate this milkshake successfully. Ice cubes are blended with lots and lots of vanilla ice cream and fresh coconut juice and flesh. The blended mixture is then poured into another funnel-looking mixer. The mixture of coconut and vanilla was good together - the milkiness from the vanilla ice cream, fresh sweetness of the coconut juice and little bits of coconut flesh in my milkshake.

I can imagine this would be a dream come true on a hot day, an ice-cold, refreshing drink although it was freezing when we were having our milkshakes. I found that after I let the ice melt a little, it tasted better - the flavours were more well-meshed together and the coconut freshness more pronounced. :D
